Privacy
Last updated 16 October 2026. This page describes what this website does with information, which is very little.
What this website collects
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how fast pages
load. It sets no cookie, does not identify you and does not follow you to other sites.
Cloudflare's bot protection also runs a short script and may set a strictly necessary
security cookie (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance) that tells
people apart from automated traffic. There are no advertising scripts or tracking pixels.
Your choice of light or dark scheme is kept in your own browser's local storage and never
leaves it.
The contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, the name, email address, subject and message you typed are delivered by email to our inbox at contact@merdn.dev. They are not stored in a database on our servers. We use them only to reply to you and to carry on the conversation you started. If you would rather we deleted a message, write to the same address and we will.
To keep the form free of automated abuse, submissions are rate-limited per network address at the edge; the address is used for that count and is not written to any log of ours.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse under its own privacy policy. We have turned off the per-request logs we could otherwise keep.
Links to other sites
This site links to a Facebook page. What happens there is governed by Facebook's terms, not ours.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by emailing contact@merdn.dev. We answer such requests by email.
